Shopping answers in the browser

Every price comes with its receipt

Your assistant can already say which speakers to compare. Nimble adds what a shopper needs next: the price on each store's own page, who sells it, whether it's in stock, and when we checked.

For the browser assistant's shopping answers, and for price-drop and restock alerts.

What's different

What a store record adds

A written answer tells a shopper what reviewers think. These three things need data from the store itself, and they're what Nimble returns.

01

Show its work

Every price arrives as a record: the store, the seller, stock, a link to the listing, and the time it was read. Your assistant can show it, and your team can check it.

02

Find the right product

Search results mix in bundles, used items and other sellers. We keep each listing separate, so the price belongs to the product the shopper asked about.

03

Keep watching

The same check runs every hour or every day for any list of products. A price drop or a restock shows up as a changed field, ready for an alert.

Nimble maintains the store collections, so your team doesn't build or fix scrapers. The same API that checks prices also finds the reviews, in the six countries below.

How fast, and where

Reviews come back in about a second. Store prices take longer, so the panel answers first and fills in prices as they arrive. In a pilot, slower stores are checked on a schedule and shown with the time of the last check.

Public pages only, no logged-in accounts. Some sites bar automated collection, so the store list is agreed site by site in week 1.

What your team asked

We met the browser, web platform, Bixby and Open Innovation teams in July. Their main questions, answered:
